Hi!

I just checked Jack's info on amazon.com, and he's right, _BUT_:

I also checked www.amazon.de (the German branch), and they even listed some
more!

Just in case you're interested, there seem to be THREE new BC books this
autumn, all in October 2001, all Harper Collins!

- Vagabond, see
http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/0002259664/qid=993122238/sr=1-24_pi/30
2-4950268-6749637
- Gallows Thief, see
http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/0007129599/qid=993122238/sr=1-20_pi/30
2-4950268-6749637
- The Archer's Tale, see
http://www.amazon.de/exec/obidos/ASIN/0066210844/qid=993122238/sr=1-15_pi/30
2-4950268-6749637

Regards, Pi.

This is also listed on amazon.co.uk - see
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0007127154/qid=993149461/sr=1-2/202-8097435-8295843

It seems to be either a one-off, or the start of a new series. The
synopsis says:

"A man in Newgate had been found guilty of murdering the aristocrat
whose portrait he was painting. Captain Hawkes is given the job of
investigating, but when his first steps produce a sizeable bribe to
look the other way, it arouses his smouldering anger over the
condition of England."

This is a book to be published in the States in October - it's quite
possible this is a re-titled Harlequin, because a) Harlequin is about
an archer, and b) Harlequin hasn't yet been published there.
Unfortunately, none of the Amazon sites seem to have any details about
the book, except that it's hardback.
