Sorry, but the Ball at St. Elizabeth's is over.  It was in Oct. 1995, and
was awesome, although WAY too crowded.  That was the first and last time
Anne will host the annual Vampire Lestat Fan Club annual Gathering of the
Coven at St. E's, although she said she might try to have the gathering
outside of St. E's ( a street fair type atmosphere) at some point in the
future.  The ARVLFC has an annual gathering at Tipitina's night club
in New Orleans around Halloween, and you can purchase tickets to that if
you are a member of the club.  Anne usually makes an appearance, but it's
nothing like the St. E's Memnoch Ball, although I'm sure it's lots of
fun!

I went to the Ball last year and we had a blast.  Does anyone know if the
ARVLFC is for sure going to do Tipitina's this year?  I havn't recieved a
mailing from them for a bit.  I would like to update this years Party
info on my web pages and can't seem to find anyone who knows anything yet.

thanx ahead of time :-)

Bev, my wife and I went to the Memnoch Ball last year at St.E's, but I
was under the impression that, that was a one time thing specially hosted
by Anne.  I don't think it works that way every year.

I am a member of the ARVLFC, but I haven't heard anything in the way of
tickets this year.  I imagine it will be at Tipitina's.

I am also a member, but still have not recieved anything at all since
the ball last year.  Has anyone else out there received anything?  I am
wondering if I should write to ask them where the newsletter is...

I am wondering the same thing. I got the membership renewal card, but that
has been it since the Fall. I wonder why?

Damielle, I didnt even get the renewal.  Today I sent a letter to the
fanclub to ask what happened.  Maybe it got lost in the mail.  I
thought for sure there would be a newsletter with last year's ball
photos...

The Memnoch Ball newsletter from the ARVLFC is in the works.  The last I
heard it was being printed (from BarbLestat of Talismanic Tours, who is
in touch with the fan club), so hopefully we should receive it soon. The
fan club takes so long to get things done because they all work on a
volunteer basis in their spare time, and it's very hard to write, print
and mail thousands of newsletters/membership packets/info, etc., when
only a few people are doing the work.  Don't despair, we will get
something, even if it is 7 months after the ball!  I hope it's
worththe wait! But I do agree that it has been a verly long time with no
word from them what so ever.

Thank you so much Robin for the update.  I am not in any rush to get
it, I thought maybe it was lost in the mail.  I wish I could help them,
but I am so far away from the hub.  Again, thanks

Sometimes you will get the occasional form floating around but it's not
required.  Just send your name and address with a check or money order to
the club for $13.00 and thats it.  Sometimes it takes them a while to
reply it depends on how busy they get.

There is no form to fill out to join ARVLFC.  Just write on a piece of
paper your name and address with a note stating that you want to become a
member, and enclose a check for $13.00 made payable to ARVLFC, and in a
couple of months you will receive a member package.

P.S.  So far there are no plans for a Coven Party this year, but if there
is one it will not be at St. Elizabeth's, nor on a grand scale like The
Memnoch Ball.

Ditto on that one. I've heard some great things about it, but I've no
idea where to look. I'd sure appreciate it if someone'd drop a line to
let me know.
