Years ago, these two questions changed my life:
"Donna, do you really want to know the truth?"
"Donna, will you obey the truth --no matter what the cost?"
I said "Yes" to both of those questions with a sincere heart.
A person that says "Yes" to those questions, with a sincere heart,
will become the "little child" of Matthew 18:3-4. After that, they
will grow and mature --but they will never be more perfect than
they were that day they made that commitment to God. Jesus said:
" ... Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as
little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the
same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 18:3-4
In my case, I had wandered around in the church system for
decades; I had spiritual gifts --but was deceived about my spiritual
condition. I know now, that I had never fully repented; was still
unconverted; and that "signs and wonders" are not evidence of the
indwelling Holy Spirit or the new creation. After that wonderful
day, there was so much for me to learn --and unlearn!
I continually praise and thank God for His goodness and mercy
towards me. Until my conversion, I would have been among these
people who had been deceived:
"Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not
prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and
in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess
unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work
iniquity." Matthew 7:22-23
Before I was converted, I needed to see the difference between The
Royal Law of God (The Ten Commandments) and "the yoke of
bondage." My conversion came when I submitted myself to obey
The Ten Commandments and the words of Jesus.
"The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the
testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple."
Psalms 19:7
God will bless everyone who walks that narrow path that leads to
eternal life...

Donna, there is no such thing as truth, there are only facts and lies.

God did not need to work miracles to convince atheists but to convert heathens.
-- Sir Francis Bacon
Sounds great, but the question is: which "truth" to believe? With the many
various religious denominations here and there, which one is "the one?"
Is it the Adventist "truth" or the Catholic, or the Protestant, Jewish,
Muslim, etc, etc? Can you answer, specifically, with no generalizations?
From experience in listening, the real "truth" is the one the person feels
is correct -- to him/her. And that's not saying much, is it?
Answer please!

"Lone Star" may the God and Father of my Lord Jesus Christ open your
eyes. People can wear any of those religious labels you've listed and
still be saved by grace through faith in Jesus. All who are saved
hear Jesus voice and follow him, making him their Lord, profoundly
thankful of salvation from the abiding wrath of God. Will ever a born-
again Christian go to mosque and go through the motions of that
religious practice? I'm sure there have been, vexed all the while,
either coming out from among them or living a hellishly conflicted
life trying to cover up the light of the Holy Spirit now living inside
them. Jesus said he is the truth in John 14:6. He is the door to
eternal life, and there is none other; any who try entering in another
way is likened to a thief and robber who will be cast into the outer
darkness into everlasting destruction.
"And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life." (John 5:40)
There is no other way to eternal life.
Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto
the father but by me." (John 14:6)

Psa 19:7 The Torah of יהוה [YAHWEH] is perfect, bringing back the
being; The witness of [YAHWEH] יהוה is trustworthy, making wise the
simple;
Psa 19:8 The orders of [YAHWEH] יהוה are straight, rejoicing the
heart; The command of [YAHWEH] יהוה is clear, enlightening the eyes;

So the question I present to you Donna, in knowing that the Torah is
perfect, how do you address this contradiction of the Psalm of King
David?
Heb 7:18 For there is indeed a setting aside of the former command
because of its weakness and unprofitableness,
Heb 7:19 for the Torah perfected naught, but the bringing in of a
better expectation, through which we draw near to Elohim.
Is it perfect or have the Romans canonized contradiction you are
unwilling to see? Is it perfect as written by the hand of YAHWEH or
is it weak and unprofitable?
Num 6:24 “Yahweh bless you and guard you;
Num 6:25 Yahweh make His face shine upon you, and show favour to you;
Num 6:26 Yahweh lift up His face upon you, and give you peace.” ’

Conversion comes by grace through faith, not by doing the works of the
law (Eph 2:8-9). The law reveals your heart the way God sees it.

: TWO QUESTIONS THAT CHANGED MY LIFE
:
: Years ago, these two questions changed my life:
:
: "Donna, do you really want to know the truth?"
:
: "Donna, will you obey the truth --no matter what the cost?"
:
: I said "Yes" to both of those questions with a sincere heart.
Yes, we certainly want to show our love for God by walking in the
spirit and avoiding sinning.
John 14:15 KJV
15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
But we must be carefully into being fooled that if we disobey
even once we are then not saved and never really repented.
We must be careful to not be fooled into thinking we must earn
our salvation by not sinning at, or that we lose or never were
saved if we sin even once.
Have you not sinned at all since being saved? Do you believe you
are without sin, having obeyed God fully at all times in thought,
word and deed?
1 John 1:7-10 KJV
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have
fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his
Son cleanseth us from all sin.
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the
truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us
our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and
his word is not in us.
Why are we chastised, rebuked and scourged by God, every one of
us, if we are able to live a perfect, sinless life?
Hebrews 12:5-11 KJV
5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you
as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the
Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every
son whom he receiveth.
7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons;
for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers,
then are ye bastards, and not sons.
9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected
us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in
subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own
pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of
his holiness.
11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but
grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit
of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
:
: A person that says "Yes" to those questions, with a sincere heart,
This seems to imply that it's a person's works (walking that
narrow path that leads to eternal life) that earns them eternal
life - heaven. This is not true.
John 14:6 KJV
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life:
no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Titus 3:4-5 KJV
4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward
man appeared,
5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but
according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of
regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of
yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
It is a glorious thing to strive to not sin even once, and is our
reasonable service. But we must not fool ourselves into thinking
we must earn salvation by not sinning, or that we were never
saved if we sin even once. We must instead confess our sins if we
stumble, get back up, pray for the strength of spirit to avoid
doing so in the future, and take steps if possible to help ensure
it won't happen again.
May God Bless.

Your reply: Jesus said he is the truth in John 14:6. He is the door to
eternal life, and there is none other; any who try entering in another
way is likened to a thief and robber who will be cast into the outer
darkness into everlasting destruction.
"And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life." (John 5:40)

Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto
the father but by me." (John 14:6)

Sorry, that doesn't answer the question. OK, let's leave this issue in the
"Christian" realm. With so many Christian religions and beliefs, many of
which contradict the others, how is a person supposed to learn "the truth."
Some Adventists call Catholicism "The Beast" and condemn Catholics. The
Mormons are hated by everyone, it seems. You know the drill.
By responding that "you must find Christ in your life" and be saved is no
answer. Many people have "found" Christ in their life and still get trashed
by other Christians for their unbelief in the "truth."
You and the others cannot ever answer this. You try with generalities, but
fail. And the question still remains.
EW
2Corinthians 4:3-4 say that the gospel you're not seeing is hidden
from you because you are lost, and your mind is blinded by Satan
because you don't believe.
You don't need answers from me, friend. You need answers to prayer.
So if you really want to see the truth, call upon the name of the Lord
in the day of trouble and he will deliver thee. Any day without
salvation is a day of trouble, so now is the time to call him on that
promise.
The truth is that NONE of them ARE TRUE. None of them have the facts
because they live in a semi-reality, a shadow land where they pay
homage to an angry, murderous god. I'll prove it right now: read the
two verses below this sentence, then tell me, if you were a cop,
would it sound as if I were making threats of violence against
someone;;;;
Psalm 2:11 Serve Jehovah with fear, And rejoice with trembling.
Psalm 2:12 Kiss the son, lest he be angry, and ye perish in the way,
For his wrath will soon be kindled. Blessed are all they that take
refuge in him.
To put the verses in context, the previous verses speak of the
enslavement of a people by god, and his willingness to murder them for
trying to free themselves.
Read them carefully and tell me what you see....
