1,000 Birds Fall From the Sky in Arkansas

Saturday night, ringing in the New Year took on a whole different
meaning for the citizens of Beebe. Around 11:30 p.m., enforcement
officers with Arkansas Game and Fish Commission began getting reports
of dead black birds falling from the sky in the city limits of Beebe.

BEEBE, Ark.-- Saturday night, ringing in the New Year took on a whole
different meaning for the citizens of Beebe. Around 11:30 p.m.,
enforcement officers with Arkansas Game and Fish Commission began
getting reports of dead black birds falling from the sky in the city
limits of Beebe.
Officers estimated that over 1,000 birds had fallen out of the sky
over the city before midnight. Most of the birds were dead, but some
were still alive when officers arrived. The blackbirds fell over a one-
mile area in the city. AGFC wildlife officer Robby King responded to
the reports and found hundreds of birds. "Shortly after I arrived
there were still birds falling from the sky," King said. King
collected about 65 dead birds that will be sent to the Arkansas
Livestock and Poultry Commission lab and the National Wildlife Health
Center lab in Madison, Wis.
The AGFC has flown over the area to gauge the scope of the event.
There were no other birds found outside of the initial area.
AGFC ornithologist Karen Rowe said that strange events similar to this
one have occurred a number of times across the globe. "Test results
usually were inconclusive, but the birds showed physical trauma and
that the flock could have been hit by lightning or high-altitude
hail," Rowe said.

used something like arsenic treated grain, this would do what you
describe. That is, the arsenic doesn't kill the creature instantly,
but does render it increasingly, neurologically disabled, which could
explain their falling from the sky. The physical injuries may have

power line and crashing into it instead. I've seen robust healthy

I've known something was screwed up about the state of Florida as of
the early 70s, and not that other states didn't seem to have their
fair share of lose screws, including the state of Washington that
should have been doing a better job of taking care of itself. So it's
not just the latest generation that has us firmly gripped by our
private parts. This perversion has to start in kindergarten, and the
result is a K12 education system of indoctrination that formulates our

For many that "safe place" is already too little too late.
We're not going to make it 0.1% of the way towards any solar fusion
whack job, so there's hardly any reason to fear the other 99.9% of the
future that humanity of any terrestrial verity will ever get to
encounter.
Billions of years before our sun becomes too much and too close for
comfort, firstly we'll have to survive the Andromeda encounter before
we'll have to bail off this badly depleted or nearly dead/inert planet
that can no longer support more than 1% of us. (1% of 20 billion is
200 million that may become a serious survival push in as little as a
couple thousand years from now, especially once you consider the badly
depleted worth of our polluted and war ravaged planet). Conventional
hydrocarbons are only going to last us at best another 300 years,
whereas after that they'll be way too spendy, whereas everything after
that unaffordable era will have to be spendy synfuels and/or Mook H2
and Guth HTP plus a certain small amount of synfuel or biofuel if you
need a compact liquid alternative to those conventional hydrocarbons.
In the mean time, what can we and others do as of today and within the
near future seems a whole more appropriate for alt.astronomy
discussions. Notice I'm not even suggesting that moving Earth along
with its trust moon on some interstellar trajectory is impossible
(supposedly those immortal seans can do anything), whereas I'm just
suggesting that other extremely nearby options are going to be a whole
lot more doable.
Perhaps we should start preparing now, because in 300 some odd years
there isn't going to be any affordable hydrocarbon energy for the 20+
billion of us to survive on, and William Mook plus myself can
certainly further elaborate on this.
It seems we build good looking but rather flimsy homes that a little
too much fire, wind, water or ground movement takes them out, and we
still don't seem to know how to construct really big capacity
reservoirs that'll safely hold billions of cubic feet worth of storm
water, and we're obviously not smart enough to drain and/or pump that
storm water into existing aquifers and vast caverns that are mostly
sucked dry to start with.
Therefore, we got a long ways to go before turning this Eden/Earth
into any kind of viable cryogenic interstellar spaceship with hardly
any atmosphere that'll survive getting through multiple Kuiper belts
and Oort clouds. Perhaps by then we'll have even lost enough helium,
hydrogen plus a few other lofty gasses to make our planet another 1%
lighter.

The atmosphere has clouds of jet exhaust and other hydrocarbon exhaust
to contend with. Added water vapor makes most of that acidic, as well
as being carcinogenic and otherwise toxic.
Basically in some locations there's too much CO2, CO and NOx.

Lots of weird cosmic stuff seems to be the norm, and the closer we get
to interacting with the terrific Sirius Oort cloud of icy debris, the
worse or more weird it's going to get, not to mention the tonnage of
helium loss per second that our world has to contend with.
Let us hope the Sirius Oort cloud isn't retrograde to that of our
outer Oort cloud.

Not that industrial and/or wholesale raw volume dumping of CO2, NOx
and a good dozen other elements that are mostly toxic or even
carcinogenic plus otherwise acidic to our global biodiversity isn't
bad enough, there's Big Energy that’s doing all it can to kill us off,
but not before they first bankrupt most of us.
Supposedly a conservative 200,000 tonnes of the BP blowout methane and
other gasses (mostly as liquefied composite gasses plus a few percent
as highly compressed helium) that became dissolved into the Gulf
(meaning an extra 2410 tonnes/day or 3.36e6 m3 as having not directly
surface vented or having been recaptured as part of their gaseous 12e6
to15e6 m3/day) has been extensively converted by the local bacteria/
microbes in the four months following, as well as indirectly dropping
the O2 levels considerably in the process. However a good portion of
that dissolved methane plus a number of related acids and toxins
(including a good portion of their million gallons worth of the
Corexit toxin) was likely drawn away by the Gulf Stream itself and is
subsequently dispersed along the East coast or further, and most
likely doing subsequent environmental as well as biological/genetic
damage that may not be easily accounted for. Meanwhile, them ‘big
people’ of BP (as opposed to us SP ”small people”) and other Big
Energy types are busy contriving between themselves on how to get us
SPs (“small people”) paying $5/gallon (including tax), so guess who’s
really picking up the all-inclusive tab for such Big Energy screw-ups
and their greedy reckless disregard as to the global biodiversity and
environmental trauma?
Perhaps next time they should just use VX instead of Corexit because
only VX is more toxic to life as we know it (just kidding), though
considering the global usage of Corexit there’s really no contest that
Corexit has been way more environmentally risky than VX. Forbid they
should use natural biological enzymes or genetically specialized
nematodes to eat and convert crude hydrocarbons, so instead the world
oceans and estuaries get to cope with a hundred million gallons per
year at 7.9 lb/gal (363,000 tonnes) of known toxins (especially their
9527A formula) that even evaporates and thus become airborne along
with their modified hydrocarbons that are also toxic. Gee whiz, this
just keeps getting better and better, especially if you so happen to
be the great reaper of death.
That Gulf of Mexico blowout likely released ten million tonnes worth
of composite gasses, and thus at least 100e3 tonnes of helium went
away, though because of the reservoir extreme depth is why some
estimates would push that upwards of 200e3 tonnes of helium, and
because the crude oil itself initially carried at least 1% helium per
volume exiting at the dysfunctional wellhead BOP is roughly another
estimate of 5e4 barrels or 8000 m3 worth 25 kg/m3 of highly compressed
helium, gives us another 200 tonnes of wasted helium.
You may not perceive helium as an element of any global environmental
consideration or other value. Think again, because it was obviously
worth killing our spendy OCO mission, since the last thing Big Energy
needed was to be held accountable for the excessive traumatizing or
killing of our global environment.
