Noah's flood 
  If you took all the water from the oceans and all the water from the polar caps and some how held it up in the sky and then let it go, would Noah's flood story be believable? The water fall for 40 days didn't it? Not all at once. So why wouldn't the water just run off into the ocean ravines rather than build up and cover mountains.
