You need to do a bit of reading beyond your normal level of white
anglo-saxon supremicist pap. Similarity in appearance does not always
indicate anything beyond surface similarity. Just because one mythical story
tells of flower petals similar to observed phenomena in the 20th century,
that doesn't necessarily mean that they come from the same source. A forest
fire can come from a variety of sources including lightning or human
intervention. You can't automatically assume that humans and lightning are
the same source. This is a flaw of logic.

"He who fights and runs away, lives to fight another day." You've got to
watch hanging around with non-believers, ET, they might actually shine a bit
of light into the dark recesses of your alleged "faith." Let's see if you
are any more truthful than the other paragon of christian virtue, Mguest,
who said that he/she was leaving and is still posting to the group weeks
later.

Several questions about your alleged prophecy from your god "Yeshuea":
1. Where do you get "70 years a generation"? What bible does that one come
from? Or is that some private revelation from your god?

2. Why would a religious prophecy be dependent on the formation and fate of
what is essentially an atheist state? Modern Israel uses the OT as a
convenient tool for promoting Zionism and claiming the protection of a god
the leaders don't believe in. Why is the end of the world is dependent on
this?

3. "My flock", so you're going to become a shepherd now, ET? What did you
do, send your spouse out to work so you can "study the word"? As former
"shepherd", I can tell you "it ain't no bed of roses!" if you do it right.
You see, real people have real needs that can't be solved with the pap
you're passing off as theology. Also, stay away from prophecy, you don't
seem to do very well with it...

Just to be helpful, I'll give you two "prophecies", ET:

1. Within 3 years, if you actually has manage to establish a church, there
will be at least one major split due to your flaky doctrine and if you are
married, you run serious risk of destroying that marriage.

2. Nothing spiritual will happen in 2018 CE. Nada! The world will go on as
it has for aeons. Some human beings will do the same stupid, petty things
they've always done and others will do the the same heroic, self-sacrificing
acts they've done for the thousands of years of recorded history. I don't
know whether you'll still be here, but there won't be a tribulation, there
won't be a second coming of your messiah, and another date setter will tuck
his/her tail and mumble some gibberish about the evil catholics corrupting
the calendar. (You did know about the catholics corrupting the calendar,
didn't you???)

I've been listening to people set dates for more than thirty years AND EVERY
ONE OF THEM, WITHOUT EXCEPTION, (including Arnold Murray in 1981) HAS MISSED
IT. I don't see anything to indicate that you're not just as incorrect as
they were. But, only time will tell.

Hmmm, this is one of the most original cop outs I have seen.  Usually, a
biblicist who finds himself on the ropes struggling to stay on his feet will
just cut and run, but End Times tells us that the Lord has revealed to him
that he should go away until 2018.  Shucks, End Times, I really hate to hear
this, because I turned 67 just a couple of months ago.  In 2018, I will be
85 if I am still around, which would make me 10 years older than any male
ancestor that I am aware of.

Anyway, I thought it rather humorous that End Times' swan song came on the
same day that someone else informed us that he had determined that the
rapture is going to occur between now and some date in September but most
likely between August 29 and September 1st.  In my reply to this posting, I
noted that just last year someone was on the board assuring us that he had
determined from the scriptures that the rapture would happen on September
16, which has come and gone with not even a glimpse of Jesus.  Now End Times
tells us that the Lord has revealed to him that he's coming back in 2018.

I think it is time to ask again where all of these nuts come from.  Being on
this newsgroup doesn't do much to built one's confidence in the general
sanity of homo sapiens, does it?

If anyone had any doubts as to how close to the edge of sanity ET is
skating, please examine some of the links at his "proof" website! Mostly the
same old conspiracy stuff dressed up in pseudochristian babble. This page is
actually a rehash of another "watcher" page in Texas
(www.crossfields.com/~watcher). The Texas page is linked back to the page in
Montana listed in ET's text above. I guess this is the internet version of
"circular reasoning." Or is it just a variant of "one lies and the other
swears to it?"

As an example of inconsistency, for a bunch of folks so intent on religious
purity, I find the use of "pagan" graphics on allegedly christian webpages
amusing. The pagan symbol of the serpent Ouroborous has a place of honor
immediately below the "eye in the triangle" symbol found on the back of the
US dollar note.

Both sites seem to contain the same old stuff...
- The Masons are taking over the world
- Evil Roman Catholics are corrupting the church
- The Wiccans are engaging in human sacrifices
- Oblique references to the kabbalah without actually mentioning its Jewish
