Description: SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
My client is an environmental remediation & consulting company in New Jersey is actively seeking qualified Senior Environmental Project Manager. Individuals must have experience managing the delivery of environmental pre-feasibility and feasibility studies for large scale capital projects to deliver safe and successful outcomes. The successful candidate must have strong in-depth regulatory knowledge, including the ability to exercise professional judgment regarding the interpretation and implementation of remedial guidance documents, multi-disciplinary technical background with interest in continued cross-training, and experience with the evaluation and selection of remediation alternatives.
Ideal candidates will be fully equipped with strong business development experience and sold book of business.
Requirements:
BS/BA or advanced degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Sciences, or related applicable technical field;
Strong technical skills and excellent oral and written communication skills;
Strong motivation to produce quality work products on budget and on time;
Comfortable working with contractors;
Capability to travel around New Jersey and occasionally outside the area (up to 20%).
Minimum 10-15 years of experience performing/implementing Phase l/ll, site investigation and remediation projects;
New Jersey experience required; NY and PA experience preferred
Writing reports for regulatory agencies, preparing proposals and scopes of work, preparing cost estimates, and implementing field investigation and remediation projects;
Meeting with and presenting to clients and regulatory agencies;
Working with the NJDEP Site Remediation Program and other regulatory agencies;
conducting presentations in-house and at technical meetings and conferences;
Looking to fill similar roles in: NY, PA, DE, MD, FL, GA, & D.C.
