User Experience Group

Summary
This role is for a seasoned Information Architect, with a strong personal vision for how technology and design can be mobilized to create usable, extensible, accessible and gratifying user experiences.
Responsibilities include developing use cases, task flows, conceptual models, wire frames and user interface specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Define functionality, content, navigation flows and information architecture by conducting interviews, task analysis, card sorts and translate findings into wire frames, site-maps, process flowcharts, content matrices, conceptual diagrams and other documentation.
• Understand both business and user goals
• Participate in user studies to understand user behaviors and preferences
• Assess informational needs and dynamics
• Develop informed user interface solutions
• Assist Content Strategists presenting content to fit the target user and brand experience
• Scope, develop and understand technical considerations with technical leads and third party
partner(s)
• Work collaboratively with interaction designer to develop interface functionality
• Visualize concepts quickly and cleanly through rapid prototyping methods
• Produce clean, concise site maps, transaction flows, diagrams and user interface specifications
• Work collaboratively with team members to define page types and templates for production
• Participate in quality assurance checks during production releases
Qualifications
• Degree in Library/Information Science, Graphic/Visual Arts, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction or related area
• 3+ years of experience in Information Architecture and interface design
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working in multi-disciplinary teams
• Excellent writing, speaking, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to research, understand and organize specialized content
• Proficiency in Microsoft Visio, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Dreamweaver
