The IONM Specialist is a valuable member of the intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring team working closely and collaborating with nurses, physicians, and other medical staff caring for the patient. Primarily Brain & Spine cases to be covered Principal Duties and Responsibilities:s - Prepares patients for and performs Intraoperative Neurophysiologic Monitoring (IOM), Attains and maintains competency in all phases of IOM and maintains high-quality performance in accordance with Joint Commission, IOM standards and all internal company/institution guidelines - Communicates effectively & appropriately during IOM with surgical team and on-line with internal personnel at all times, completes and submits accurate and compliant medical records within required time frame and adheres to requirements for equipment and supply maintenance, clinical schedules (including daily, on-call, and travel schedules), medical and governmental compliance, and credentialing. - Performs other tasks, including (but not limited to) chart reviews, remote supervision, mentoring/training, and other special projects. - Establish and maintain relationships with our customer base in a manner that respresents the company in accordance with all proper internal governance and communication protocols - Work with business development team to help develop and manage sales and relationships within the hospital. - Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requireds- Technologists are required to have passed the CNIM national certification exam. Will consider monitoring technicians who do not have CNIM but have ample experience and background required to appropriately cover case load. - Education: B.S./B.A. degree or higher, chiropractic, foreign MDs - Must have proper competency level with computer hardware and software in order to effectively perform duties. - Must have current BLS CPR certification and immunizations. - Benefits: Health Insurance (company pays approx. 80%), 401k (3% employer contribution), Standard Vacation/Personal days, Performance bonuses available. - Location: Would be for coverage primarily in central NJ, travel and car requiredsHi, Im Nicola Hawkinson and Im hiring for this job.s Interested in this job?
