Description: The ideal candidate will have previous NOC experience in a corporate environment preferably for a large financial institution. The Network Operations Center (NOC) Analyst will be primarily responsible for monitoring our network, servers, internet services (e.g. mail, DNS, hosting) and our web applications to ensure high availability. The NOC Analyst will provide first-tier response and diagnosis, and will dispatch further troubleshooting to the on-call engineers when necessary.

Duties/Responsibilities:
* Monitor network, server and web applications to ensure high availability.
* Maintain a working knowledge of a wide range of applications and systems.
* Open, update and close trouble tickets with detailed information relating to trouble reported.
* Perform initial troubleshooting and diagnosis, on IBM/SUN/HP servers supporting UNIX, Linux, and Microsoft operating systems and services.
* Follow NOC notification and escalation procedures.
