Description: We are looking to expand our internal team! The Technical Recruiter position is working directly for Micro Endeavors, Inc. TECHNICAL RECRUITER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
This headhunter’s role is located in our Upper Darby office. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates to present to clients for hiring or placement. Using creative sourcing methods for finding candidates will include but not be limited to searching job boards, placing job postings, cold calling, industry networking and other sourcing techniques.
You will be working with multiple client requisition needs and actively recruiting superior IT professionals for submission and interviewing. Client and candidate management skills are critical in ensuring communication, filling jobs, and keeping a strong candidate pipeline. You will need to apply strong and strategic sales techniques in order to farm for more requisition opportunities with clients and grow the recruitment division.
Additionally you will be responsible for building an inventory of viable IT contractors for future opportunities. The successful candidate would be responsible for building a pipeline of potential technical resources in MEI*s core competencies and managing that pipeline, through regular follow up, to help facilitate rapid hiring or placement, in support of the company*s opportunities or project needs. Internal MEI recruitment in the same capacity will be required on an as needed basis.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience requirements:
Skills Required
• Meeting deadlines and capability of multi-tasking
• Ability and willingness to travel to local client sites (Delaware Valley/Philadelphia region)
• Extreme flexibility and reliability
Experience Required
• 2+ years of successful experience in IT technical recruiting
• Proven track record of high volume recruitment and placement success in the technology industry
• Knowledge and understanding of the rules and laws governing recruiting and hiring
• Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft platforms is a huge plus (.NET, SQL, SharePoint, Windows)
Education
Bachelors Degree preferred
