Description: Manufacturer of MRI coils seeks expertise in the design, development, and manufacture of specialty conductive wires for use in a variety of MRI coil applications.
Shall:
*** Provide metallurgical knowledge for the selection of raw materials dependant on customer specific needs. (copper, alloys, exotic metals)
*** Assess annealing, etching, extrusion, and wire braiding processes and procedures and recommend and implement changes to facilitate desired end product.
*** Collaborate with inter-departmental teams to develop novel products that excel in energy transfer while minimizing energy dissipation.
*** Act as company representative for the presentation of new or improved products at symposiums, industry forums, and investor meetings.
Requires at least 5 years managerial experience in a R&D and manufacturing facility.
Company has been voted top place to work several years in a row. Commensurate with experience $130,000 - $170,000 salary plus bonuses, 401(k), tuition, stock options, full medical, and 3 to 4 weeks paid flexible vacation time.
