JOB OVERVIEW  This position requires solid organizational and analysis skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to understand HR data and be responsible for the accuracy of HR data.  Proficiency in HR Systems, is desired, proficiency in Excel is necessary. This role will be responsible for administering day-to-day transactions in Workday including supervisory organization changes, custom organization changes, transfers, business process exceptions and additional transactions. Perform bulk loads in Workday using the Workday EIB.  Ensures processes are in place to support 100% data accuracy.  Develop and document standard operating procedures for common employee data tasks.  Improve processes and drive requirements for additional Workday improvements to eliminate manual processes.  Strong tracking and coordination skills. Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills.  Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision.  Quick learner, motivated self starter.  Excellent customer service and team collaboration skills needed.  Ability to follow internal procedures and guidelines. 
Qualifications  Minimum of five years of HR experience required with three years in HR Operations.  Experience working with SaaS (Software as a service) is preferred.  Experience with Human Capital Management (HCM) implementation preferred (ie, Workday).  The person will gain Global Workday experience

Employee Data, On-boarding, & Union Administration •         Assure "right to work" fulfillment. Intake, review, and validate new hire paperwork for accuracy and completeness (e.g., applications, I-9s). •         Create new employee records and enter individual data into the (enterprise resource planning) system. •         Process work schedule changes, promotions/demotions, suspensions, separations, personal data changes, and other informational updates to employee records. Review, research, and correct errors if possible, and work with internal IT or external third party providers if necessary. •         Assist the manager with assuring that third party vendors perform according to service level agreements in support of recruiting processes (e.g., managing background checks and other recruiting due diligence, drug screening, driving record check, etc). •         Handle more complex and/or confidential inquiries/requests and assume ownership of transferred/escalated issues from Coordinators, following established processes. •         Ensure all company, federal, state, local, and other applicable compliance requirements are met. •         May provide guidance to Coordinators, review work, or approve transactions. •         Work with the internal Enterprise Operations team and vendors to identify and correct problems and implement fixes. •         Review and update of HR services documentation. Partner with the Service Center documentation team to organize and facilitate maintenance of documentation (e.g., Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions) to ensure complete, accurate, and up-to-date depiction of processes. Business Improvement & Alignment •         Assure understanding of recruitment administration team objectives and broader strategies. •         Review, follow, and provide input to HR business service center team objectives. •         Provide ideas, solutions, and tools to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of HR service processing. •         Assist in the review of metrics to drive performance, identify trends, and propose process improvements. Escalate issues and recommended resolutions to management as appropriate. •         Assist the manager with capturing and responding to escalated issues, policies, and procedures from government agencies, payroll functions, and the operating companies. Teamwork and Individual Development •         Communicate regularly with manager, team members, and appropriate stakeholders regarding task or project status and opportunities to improve service levels or processes. Mentor and guide HR Coordinators •         BA/BS Degree in HR, Operations, Accounting, Finance, or related business field Additional knowledge, skills, abilities and experience required. •         Previous experience in HR processing (employee data management preferred; recruiting, compensation, or benefits administration also considered), preferably for a large multi-state company as an analyst or coordinator. Experience in a shared service center environment preferred. •         Demonstrate a basic understanding of HR processes, procedures, controls, regulations, and compliance requirements. •         Proficient analytical and problem solving skills required.
