Description:
Review existing Business Requirements with business and technical staff. Define development tasks and timelines, define required interactions with other project areas, and work with the Project Manager to integrate tasks into the project plan. Design and implementation of Systems Automation Processes. Develop complex database queries to produce expected result sets. Oracle database performance optimization. Repository Creation, Maintenance, Groups, users creation, Metadata Maintenance. Application monitoring, performance tuning, capacity planning and problem resolution. Unix shell scripting to support pre/post session activities. Documenting standards and procedures.

Cognos requirements Educational Requirements: BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience Cognos Certifications Experience Requirements: Experience with SDLC and CSV processes is highly desirable. 4 years experience in designing and developing business intelligence solutions, with at least 3 years involving Cognos 8.x and above. Cognos 10 experience is preferred. Strong experience in creating OLAP (Online Analytical Processing) cubes using Transformer. Strong experience in creating Framework models. Hands on experience in creating complex drill through reports. Excellent database architecture and design skills, with three or more years of experience using Oracle 11 and DB2. Experience with modeling customer and sales data is preferred. Knowledge of various data related functions such as data integration, data modeling, metadata management, data replication and ETL, business intelligence, data cleansing, and profiling is desired. Unix shell scripting. Special Skills: Cognos Development Tools Cognos Metamodeling Cognos Change Management & Security Windows Server and OS .NET Development Deep expertise with Report Studio and framework manager are essential. Informatica requirements Educational Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Experience Requirements: 8+ years software Systems Analysis, Systems Design, Documentation, Development, Testing and Implementation experience. 4+ years Data Warehousing ETL experience using Informatica. 4+ years Unix shell scripting experience. 4+ SQL, PL/SQL, Procedures/Functions, Triggers and Packages. Excellent design concepts for dimensional data modelling, Star/Snowflake schema creation, fact and dimension table definition. Required Skills: ETL, Informatica 9.0, PL/SQL, Oracle, DB2, MS SQL Server Special Skills: Automotive industry experience. 5yrs experience with the following: Oracle, DB2, MS SQL Server, PL/SQL, stored procedures, Linux SUSE 10/11, Scripting, Data Warehousing Best Practices. Experience with Metadata Manager a plus. Intermediate Word, Excel and Outlook skills required.
