Description: Primary Skill Requirement - Thorough knowledge of all ESRI Software offerings and their implementation on various platforms Design and code from specifications, analyze, evaluate, test, debug, document and implements complex geoprocessing scripts in Python using ArcPy. Develop and support systems used on an enterprise basis to display geospatial data for operations and non-network purposes. Engineer and implement system interfaces with other internal systems via web services including both cached and dynamic WMS. Requires an in depth knowledge of REST/SOAP/WMS/KML services in support of Flex and Silverlight based map viewers. Design, configure and tune ESRI environments to support all current and future implementations of ArcGIS 10.X and above. This will include high availability designs and active disaster recovery implementations to ensure system availability to 99.99%. Participate in the evaluation, recommendation, and selection of hardware and software solutions; Perform project management of estimating, scheduling, and monitoring tasks; Performs expert-level engineering tasks associated with the analysis, design, and development of computer hardware, firmware, embedded systems, and/or operating systems; Develop, maintain, and report intranet metrics; Interface with different departments within the organization regarding new deployments; Manage, administer, and maintain all internet and intranet sites; Research/analyze data processing functions, methods and procedures; Monitor program execution for expected performance; Requires a bachelors degree in area of specialty and at least 8-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area; 8+ years experience with ESRI software suite: SDE, ArcGIS Server, Flex Viewer, ArcDesktop. 8 + years Experience in Unix, Linux and Windows System Administration and Active Directory; 8+ years front-end integration experience working with development teams on the deployment of web based applications (Java, Flex and Silverlight); Experience in network design, operational support, hands-on implementation and configuration of network infrastructure; Strong knowledge and experience in VPN, Firewall, load-balancing, network security, and network management platforms; working knowledge of Weblogic server; Working knowledge of SQL and Oracle database; experience in developing geographic applications and their support.
