Description:   APEX SYSTEMS, INC. is currently seeking CCNA or CCNP-level Network Engineers. Title:? Network Engineer  Duration: 3-6 month Contract-to-hire Working Location: Mt. Laurel, NJsThe  Network Engineer position will be responsible for infrastructure and routing design, network strategy, implementation, performance engineering and optimization of the Converged Regional Area Network (CRAN)/Converged Commercial Networks. The  CRAN combines the following services  data, voice, and video - onto a single converged infrastructure for the Commercial service offerings.  

Job Responsibilities: os   Create and document high-level and detailed network designs for the CRAN/Converged Commercial Networks, as well as for the augmentation of existing commercial networksos   Generate network configurations to support market augments and CRAN/Converged Commercial Networks designsos   Provide last tier On-Call support,  focused on  isolating and resolving network outagesos   Build  relationships with assigned markets through regular communication and site visits os   Test and deploy MPLS/VPLS across the CRAN/Converged Commercial Networks in support of network security and QOS for customer traffic.os   Work independently with little supervision while managing assigned projects and ensuring timely delivery of  servicesos   Communicate applicable design guidelines and provide guidance to markets to ensure compliance    Qualifications/Education:  Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.  The equivalent in related work experience and self study may be substituted. Junos and CCIE/CCNP certification preferred.Experience:  os   At least 1 yrs direct Service Provider experience focused on  design and routing expertise, forecasting,  and implementation of  IP router based high-speed technologyos   In-depth knowledge and working experience in layer 3 routing protocols  RIPv2, OSPF or IS-IS, and BGPos   Specific knowledge of Cisco routers, especially the 7600, CRS, 6500, 3500, 2900 series is preferredos   Specific knowledge of Juniper MX-series or M-series platforms is preferredos   Knowledge of PSTN and TDM services and implementation a plusos   Experience in the implementation of multicasting a plusos   Expertise in scripting languages a plusos   Solid written and verbal communication skillsos   Demonstrated initiative to build relationships both internally and externally with minimal supervision/direction from managementos   Proven ability to manage multiple tasks/projects.? **If interested, please forward an updated resume in a Word document to jdomzal...@apexsystemsinc.com
