The Data Analyst primary role is to act as a source of information, Subject Matter Expert (SME) and guidance for the Government Contact Center, Processing and Support Teams. He/She will assist the Paperless Reimbursement Manager in working special projects, researching issues including contact with PR carriers, maintain statistical reports and procedural documentation, provide training as needed to Contact Center and Processors, participate in implementations and re-implementations of PR carriers, as well as submitting and following on team tracks and testing for systems releases. Responsibilities: Act as the first tier for research of participant and carrier inquire Conduct quality testing on file feeds Responsible for statistical reporting and procedural documentation Participate in carrier conference calls, draft meeting minutes, and track open ticket status including follow-up Draft business requirements and develop test plans, end user testing, user acceptance Work special projects utilizing advanced Microsoft Excel skills for reporting and data analysis Monitor Claims files with PR Technical Analyst to ensure client Service Level Agreements (SLA) are met Monitor and update daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports Serve as back up to PR Quality Analyst, PR Technical Analyst and PR Manager Quality check and sign-off on all PR Claims files once documented by PR Processor Keep PR Manager apprised of all open issues status Participant in systems conference calls, including testing update meetings and all systems releases
Experience in a technical role involving file feed analysis and data manipulation is required Experience with User Acceptance Testing/End User Testing Experience with systems support tools such as Cognos or Crystal Reports is helpful Experience with SQL Queries and Access are required Must be proficient in Advanced Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Access. Windows environments, SAMS, HR Access, K-edit and COGNOS knowledge and experience is a plus Strong technical, organizational, follow-up and time management skills are essential Must have strong problem solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to propose solutions Must be able to work overtime including late evening systems releases Strong communication skills both oral and written for both internal and external with carriers Minimum of one year in a customer service environment Two years of general business experience to include Microsoft applications
