Description:   Assume accountability for diagnostic assay equipment marketing and development programs. 



Responsibilities: 



*** Foster relationships with manufacturers of scientific diagnostic products. 



*** Serve as a resource to other Product Managers, assisting them in the resolution of complex problems or leading them on larger products. 



*** Gather input to define product concepts. 



*** Justify expenditures for products. 



*** Articulate and analyze markets. 



*** Evaluate technologies. 



*** Develop detailed requirements, feature definitions and implementation plans. 



*** Lead cross functional teams to envision new product features. 



*** Coordinate with outside vendors and strategic partners to ensure that initiatives are well defined and delivered. 



*** Manage all internal and external resources to ensure that approved products get to market per specifications, within budget and on schedule. 



*** Gain cross-company approval for new products and successful launch of those products. 



Candidate must possess B.S in comparable field as well as; 5 or more years experience in Life Science Technologies, proven track record of new business wins and contracts sold.
