Description:   Description: 		  	 		PMO Project Lead 		Oversee the PMO for a highly complex, large scale, strategic IT initiative - SCAL ICD10. Activities include coordinating the delivery of multiple projects for 11 workstreams, developing cost benefit analyses for the program, communicating to an executive committee, creating and reporting program status utilizing a dashboard, track resource usage across the multiple projects, adhering to project governance policies, and managing the financial concerns of the program. Responsible for ensuring established PMO policies, system monitors and controls are adhered to ensure successful management of the ICD10 program. Ensure program and project staff see the impacts and interdependencies between projects/program to ensure initiatives meet the goal of the leadership team. 		 		Must be able to utilize and effectively understand and communicate technical components (development and testing) of an initiative to both business and IT stakeholders. 		 		Experience Level: 10-15 Years.  	 		Skill Set: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Associates Degree is required. PMI certified is preferred. 3- 5 years application development experience preferred. Project should also understand EDI, system interfaces, data analysis, and testing. 		Project manager must have some experience working on a complex, large scale projects/programs ($1M or more). 2-3 years experience in MS Project or MS Project Server, or Sharepoint. Must be self motivated, well organized and have strong innovation and facilitation skills. Proven oral and written communication skills; excellent business presentation skills. Excellent analytical skills. Ability to interface effectively with all levels and across organizational lines, including the business units. Ability to effectively utilize external vendors and resources throughout the organization. Demonstrated success at building team relationships and partnerships across organizational lines. 		Candidate utilizes standard project management artifacts and tools such as a MS Project to manage their projects via a project plan; create and maintain risk and issues logs, action items, project budget, communication plans, project organization chart, etc. 		 		PREFER Candidate has experience in health care project management, health care information technology and systems, and implementation of ICD-9 or ICD-10, HIPAA 4010/5010 remediation projects. 		 		Top 3-5 daily responsibilities: 		 		Manage SCAL ICD10 PMO activities 		Some ICD10 Application remediation management for applications assigned 		Project plan, risk issue mitigation, and action item issues management 		Management statuses, scorecard, RPM, and budget 		 		Top 3-5 required skills: 		Project Management skills to lead and coordinate across the program regarding PMO activities 		Technical ability to ascertain critical path for the program 		Strong communication skills 		Healthcare workflow knowledge 		Client communication and partnership skills 		 		 		Nice to have skills: 		ICD10 or 5010 knowledge 		 		Soft skills: 		Ability to drive a project to completion yet the ability to work well with the team and with key customers 		Strong communication skills 		 		Type of background you want someone to have: 		 		Healthcare Information Technology 		ICD10 or 5010 		Healthcare Application knowledge 		 		 		Will they manage anyone: 		 		No but there may be some matrix responsibility to oversee work 		 		 		Size of the team: 		 		20+ 		 		 		Will this be contract only or contract to hire: Contract to hire possible 		 		  	 		Minimum Educational Requirements 		  	 		Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent, Associates Degree is required.
