Description:   Genesis10 is actively seeking a Project Manager for a 12 month contract position with a major U.S. electric and natural gas company based in Minneapolis, MN.                                            Description:                    The project position will consist of managing a variety of small projects all at once. The manager is looking for a high motivated project manager who will be able to manage projects and deliver the results with managing multiple projects at one time. This is a very busy task.                                           Requirements:                                           Position requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills.                                          Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, and MS Word is required.                                    5-7 years of combined prior experience in project management, electric utility maintenance, or control center clearance coordination is required.                                       The Ideal candidate would be someone who has worked in the Electric Utility Maintenance environment/working hand in hand with the control center environment managing projects.                                         Responsible for management of annual maintenance program lifecycle from maintenance portfolio definition/scope through implementation.                                          Develop portfolio execution plan and drive activity milestones.                                         Employ project management methodologies and tools, like MS Project.                                     Identify, coordinate, and manage resources and key stakeholders for portfolio completion.                                       Ensure effective change management occurs throughout the course of portfolio execution.                                         Manage all communication plans, training and documentation.                                     Deliver completed portfolio activities on time, at/under budget and within scope.                                       Communicate portfolio activity status to designated analysts on a regular basis throughout the annual portfolio cycle.                                          Position requires excellent oral and written communications, interpersonal, negotiation, project planning, judgment, leadership, decision-making, analysis and problem-solving skills.                                          Proficiency wih MS Project, Excel, and MS Word is required.                                     5-7 years of combined prior experience in project management, electric utility maintenance, or control center clearance coordination is required.                               If you are a qualified candidate interested in this opportunity, please apply.                                          About Genesis10                         Genesis10 is a leading U.S. business and technology consulting firm with more than 150 clients that need proven talent and solutions to power their strategic initiatives.
