Description: Position Summary
The Manger is responsible for promoting and developing a positive culture in accordance with Valley Forge Casino Resort mission, values, and vision statement. He/She assists with the policies and procedures, recruitment and hiring practices and enhances general strategies for profitability, sustainability and longevity of Nightlife.
Job Duties
Assist with cultivating and mentoring leadership within the venue while assisting with the P&L, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, Accounts Payable and Human Resources functions. Responsible for nightly reports and cash-outs, invoices, purchase journals, and acceptable inventory controls. Comply with all state and federal liquor laws. Provide customer with information and directions. He/she will also assist other venue Managers with the nightly scheduling, and with both the nightly staff and floor management. Ensure compliance with all federal and state gaming regulations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
§ Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospitality/restaurant industry is highly preferred
§ RAMP Certified
§ Must qualify for and maintain licensure as required by Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
§ Highly organized with excellent follow up skills and extreme attention to detail
§ Understanding of a "sense of urgency" attitude for the completion of responsibilities/tasks
§ Ability to work in a deadline driven, fast-paced, high pressure environment
§ Multi-tasking and prioritizing capabilities
§ Dedicated and willing to go above and beyond
§ Exceptional communication skills and articulation
§ Strong email and internet skills
§ Proficiency in Excel as well as other Microsoft applications
§ Strong PC skills including MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
§ Strong verbal and writing skills
Solid financial skills and the ability to analyze financial statements and modify operations to meet financial goals
