***Please note this position is not a technology only program. It will include business operations clients, technology, legal, risk, etc. Please submit candidates with experience relating to all.*** Responsible for managing, directing and planning one or more than one, complex programs consisting of one or more project teams. Responsible for coordinating, scheduling and assigning project tasks, teambuilding, maintaining working relationships with client functional areas outside of IT. This role is also responsible for coordination of technical design. Estimation, scope and requirements are integral duties of the program manager. Adheres to company standards, applies project development methodologies and reporting techniques to indicate project status. The Program Manager is the primary contact point to the customer on all projects. Manage Stakeholder relationships by ensuring stakeholder expectations are understood and managed accordingly. Manage stakeholder communications & participation. Promote effective individual and team performance. Act as primary point of contact to handle project issues as well as manage changes to project scope. Having a strong customer focus. Manage the development and execution of a project by adhering to a defined project management methodology. Ensure the work of the project, including requirements and deliverables, are clearly defined. Control the project, in part, by leveraging formal change management. Identify and mitigate risk. Confirm program success criteria and manage accordingly. Monitor, evaluate, and control project performance. Use developed verbal/written communications, interpersonal and organizational skills. Experience required in virtual project management for a global organization. Knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies and how they integrate. Possess an introductory understanding of application programming, database, system design, internet, extranet, intranet & client/server architectures. Ability to build consensus, influence others and negotiate compromise. Be a true "team player" that enjoys challenges and is highly motivated, self-directed and results oriented. PMI CAPM, PMP and/or ITIL certification required or committed to acquiring within a 2 year period from date of hire; ITIL a plus. 10+ years of relevant work experience required. Must haves: -Background in OTC derivatives -Senior Program Manager who has overseen projects in $1-5 million range.
