Description: CONSTRUCTION BOOKKEEPER
Construction company has an Immediate need for a Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will have a construction background as a Bookkeeper with 5-7 years of experience. Must have general knowledge of maintaining records of financial transactions by establishing accounts and posting transactions. Develop a system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts, defining bookkeeping policies and procedures. Maintain historical records by filing documents. Balance general ledger by preparing a trial balance, reconciling entries and contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Must be detail oriented and organized. Successful candidate will have a minimum five (5) years of experience as a Bookkeeper in the construction field. Strong Peachtree skills are REQUIRED.
**Accounting experience in the construction field is required.**
