Description: Job Title Senior Principal Consultant Location Iselin, NJ, US Organization Name Oracle ATS - System Performance & Architecture Department Description Brief Description Within Oracle Consulting, ATS practice provides architecture services to ensure successful implementation of Customer solutions involving the Oracle product stack. Architects are responsible for defining the architecture for overall customer solutions and database administration services to configure and maintain large Oracle environments, including the Oracle eBusiness Suite. Architecture services include capacity planning and designing solutions to meet High Availability requirements for clients. Detailed Description Provide engagement delivery services both as an individual and as a team member. Services include identifying needs, developing, influencing and implementing proposals. Able to lead, support and participate on project teams. Job Requirements Job duties are varied and complex requiring independent judgment. May have project lead role. A BS or BA in related fields. 7-9 years overall experience in functional or technical role. Two years experience in multi-dimensional issue resolution. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Willing to travel regionally with some national travel. Additional Details Oracle Consulting Practice provides architecture services to ensure successful implementation of Customer solutions involving the Oracle product stack. Architects are responsible for defining the complete customer solutions and database administration services to configure and maintain large Oracle environments, including the Oracle eBusiness Suite. Architecture services include capacity planning and designing solutions to meet High Availability and disaster recovery for clients.

PREFERRED . 4 years+ experience of Oracle technology DBA . 2 years+ experience of Oracle eBusiness Suite DBA including System Administration . Oracle eBusiness Suite Architecture including good understanding of technology stack preferable
. Hands-on professional implementation experience of RAC (Real Application Cluster)
. Server and application sizing and capacity planning . Server and application tuning for performance and scalability . Performance testing experience . Understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery and solutions . Server consolidation . Advanced security (Virtual Private Database, Labels etc) . Networking, business intelligence . Database and application server internals
100% Travel - Candidates MUST be willing and able to travel 100%. Candidates can live anywhere in US or Canada as long as they can travel 100%.
Preferred qualification:
. Architecting solutions to meet clients performance and HA preferred . Administrating software and tools in line with the clients preferred . Administrating eBusiness Suite . Conducting performance and HA testing to ensure client SLAs are met . Evaluating, monitoring and managing the clients database, application server and application performance . Working to ensure that server and application security and integrity are maintained . Developing and maintaining an up to date knowledge of practice area specific Oracle products and services
ACCOUNTABILITIES: . Perform server/application audits and health checks . Administer database, application server and application environments . Tune the database, application server and application to ensure optimum use of resources . Institute Operation Procedures to ensure the clients operating environment is monitored to help meet SLAs . Ensure the database architecture is able to meet the clients ongoing needs . Proactively maintain knowledge of Oracles current and future products/ solutions offerings for the specialist practice area . Generate the relevant material, e.g. white papers, in order to develop and share knowledge
