Description:    
This position assists with conducting internal HR/EEO investigations; ensures accurate and proper tracking, documentation and management of EEO internal and external cases.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

Assists Sr. Investigators with witness interviews (preparing, conducting, and/or note taking). Occasionally, will conduct basic investigations on his/her own.
Assists Sr. Investigators with collecting and analyzing supporting case documentation such as Cognos reports, absence records, ADA accommodation and FMLA records, performance documents and grievances.
Assists with special projects as needed (coordination of training schedule; ordering of training materials, creating Powerpoint presentations, etc.)

Knowledge/Skills, Education/Experience:
(Minimum requirements to perform the role at a satisfactory level)

Must have a basic understanding of the concepts, principles, and methods of federal/state EEO; interpreting company guidelines and regulations within organizations where accepted methods and principles are questioned or challenged.

? 1 - 3 years in Human Resources/Employee Relations field or SHRM/equivalent certification
? Basic knowledge of local, State and Federal employment law. This includes but is not limited to Title VII, ADA, FML and ADEA.
? Strong communications skills, both oral and written.
? Able to be proactive, prioritize work and handle multiple assignments in a timely manner
