Description: The
Web Application Developer
will serve as the primary web development resource to architect, design, deliver, and maintain web applications. Responsibilities also include
planning, coordination (both internal and external resources), and hands on development of all new and existing web application development initiatives.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Clarifies business requirements, translate requirements into designs, estimates project schedules, and delivers a world class web site
.
Owns
technical design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of all web applications.
Stays current in technology and researches technical tools for the development of current and future programs.
Available to respond to technical issues affecting systems maintenance.
At least 3+ years in a senior technical position developing commercial websites
Candidates should have expert understanding of Web Standards (HTML, XHTML, CSS, XML, XSL, JavaScript, Web Services, RSS) and cross browser and cross platform issues and how to develop systems that work across these various browsers and platforms.
Solid coding experience with JSP,
XHTML, DHTML, CSS2,
AJAX , and JavaScript and code integration
Must have expertise working with Web Services, SQL, and Stored Procedures.
Competent Content Management System Architect with understanding of Object Oriented Programming
Understanding of SEO issues and how to develop web systems with the optimum SEO setup
Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, schedules, and multiple facets of operation
Good communication skills and ability to work with in-house and outsourced teams of both front-end designers and backend developers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to be resourceful and work independently in a fast-paced, deadline driven, entrepreneurial environment is a MUST.
Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university and minimum of five years related experience
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
PHP knowledge and competency
Experience in mobile or e-commerce highly desired
Experience with Flash application development; ActionScript
