Description: 6-7 years experience Hands-on software & integration engineer Required System Software Experience should include: Bring-up, ability to bring up servers and applications, Integration of boot images, Linux Kernel Storage Device Drivers Included should be proficiency with SDKs, tool chains, libraries Linux experience (kernel patches and device driver experience) Experience with integration of Linux based applications (Data Bases, Key Management, Analytics, Video Surveillance) OR Linux system open source software (e.g., Lustre, OpenStack, Ceph) Proficient in C programming (C++ highly preferred) Excellent testing and debugging skills Highly Desired Performance benchmarking of system software and applications Knowledge of "storage applications" such as Backup & Recovery software (administration, integration, operational and overall architecture) Hypervisor experience (KVM and/or Xen) would be a plus. Strong skills in Python (Perl) and Shell **NICE TO HAVE
The preferred location is Boulder, CO but they can also work in Wichita, KS
