Description: Modis is seeking a motivated Information Architect for a most respected client due to growth and required staff demands.
Our Client, located in Norristown, PA is a rapidly growing global leader in a dynamic industry. They desire to engage the ideal candidate on a Contract-to-Hire basis with conversion to their employ after a contract period of net less than 3-6 months.
Overview:
The Information Architect will be responsible for the following for websites:
-develop site maps
-navigation models
-wireframes
Requirements:
• 5+ years experience as an information architect, interaction designer, or experience designer (or similar role)
• Experience collaborating with Graphic Designers, Experience Leads, Web Developers, and external clients.
• Proven ability to execute on IA of complex transactional interfaces, taxonomies and metadata frameworks, and templates
• Demonstrated experience conducting user research and translating user research into design decisions
• Demonstrated experience using web analytics data to inform design decisions
• Demonstrated understanding of user-centered design processes is required.
• Advanced proficiency in a variety of design tools including Visio and InDesign, as well as the MS Office Suite
