We are currently seeking a Manager/Senior Manager to join us in our New York office, focusing on Financial Services and Insurance industries. This position could be located in other major Northeast cities.
As part of the Advisory Services practice, CFO Advisory (CFOA) professionals are "trusted advisers" for the CFO and other financial executives of major corporations. Our professionals bring leading practices and recommendations to clients to help streamline and create more efficient processes with the finance function. CFOA service offerings are organized around: - Finance Strategy, Transformation and Mergers and Acquisitions related integration - Record-to-Report processes across the enterprise - Finance Operations involving Shared Services and Outsourcing - Business Performance Management and Business Intelligence
Responsibilities for both positions: . Deliver high quality client services utilizing KPMG individually . Participate in business development activities by identifying new opportunities and assist with proposal development .Build long-term business relationships with key executives and network in professional organizations . Provide leadership to CFOA team members and client staff that contributes to their continued growth and development Additional Responsibilities for Senior Manager: . Increased responsibilities in managing multiple engagement teams, project management, and interaction with leadership . Increased interaction with senior level clients and C-level exposure . Increased responsibilities in proposal and business development opportunities Qualifications for both positions: . Eight years of relevant work experience in a professional services organization . BS degree in Accounting or Business (or equivalent) from an accredited college/university and CPA license, MBA from an accredited college/university or other advanced professional credential . Strong understanding of business processes, project management methodologies and leading practices . Experience in designing and improving business processes, selection and implementation of shared services, outsourcing, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Business Process Management (BPM) systems . Strong client service delivery orientation including the ability to take an active role executing engagements to client service standards . Demonstrated track record of team leadership, client relationship management, and business development . Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to small groups . Willingness and ability to travel Additional Qualification for Senior Manager: .
