Description The Project Manager is responsible for the overall wind farm construction and commissioning. The Project Manager is responsible to ensure that all objectives are met in: cost, timelines, quality, environmental, safety, legal, and customer satisfaction. Also plans and schedules and monitors different stages of the project coordinating through own and external sources. Managers internal coordination with commercial and manufacturing departments at multiple organizational levels and has frequent external interactions with customers, suppliers and vendors. Resolves problems and issues related to technical, schedule and budget performance.
* High School Diploma Required. * College degree preferred or equivalent experience. * 10+ years of experience in the field of heavy construction (energy, nuclear, refinery etc.) * Wind farm development and construction experience is highly preferred. * Demonstrated success in the fiduciary management of large heavy construction projects is required. * Excellent computer skills in MS Office, Project and Sure Track(or other estimating/construction tracking software). * Strong communication and leadership skills. * Bilingual skills are preferred.
Required Skills Position requires over 70% travel to wind farms across the United States.
