Currently, a client of ours in Conshohocken, PA is looking for a Digital Strategist to join their Marketing team.
We are currently seeking an Digital Strategist - M&E to join our Philadelphia area team of professionals. As an Associate Strategist you will assist the VP of M&E by playing a key role in helping grow our client's Media and Entertainment practice by applying a deep understanding of media and entertainment and best practices, marketplace trends, competitive forces, consumer needs and business drivers. You will assist in the development of innovative and highly effective strategies that propel our clients businesses forward, support new business pursuits, and elevate our client's visibility and reputation in the market place.
Our ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in a similar role with a strong focus on media and entertainment. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level professional looking to advance their career with an established digital agency.
Key Requirements:
-5-8 years of experience in a similar role and a proven track record of digital strategy
-A solid understanding of and passion for digital media distribution and deployment
-Agency experience is preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Thought Leadership
•Assist VP of M&E in keeping ahead of trending and best practices
• Leverage third-party research, tools, and other sources to develop insights, write, and communicate POV's, whitepapers, and blogs
• Participate in conferences and speaking events
• Inspire and fuel big ideas, working with a multi-disciplinary teams across strategy, account management, UX, technology and creative
• Distribute relevant/timely articles, stats, trends, and other research to the team
Client Strategy
• Assist VP of M&E in the area of client strategy
•Help to define innovative and highly effective strategies designed to deliver measurable business results
• Effectively assist and collaborate in presentation of strategies, concepts, and ideas to key executives
• Participate in the design of insight driven strategies from opportunity identification through to creation of experience design and implementation. Structure and present recommendations to senior client leadership for buy-in
• Perform detailed evaluation of client business environment including customer needs, capabilities/assets, and competitive realities to identify unique market opportunities
• Create and/or recommend relevant digital marketing strategies and tactics to achieve business goals
• Collaborate and partner with strategy, creative, IA/UX, technology, analytics and account management to ensure work is appropriately positioned for long-term success
• Research and leverage data, analytics and business intelligence to shape strategies and key performance indicators
•Help clients respond to changes in the competitive landscape or industry trends
•Assist in turning insights and ideas into actionable strategic plans and roadmaps
•Develop frameworks to help clients refine their e-commerce / digital marketing strategies
• Review, document and assess quantitative and qualitative research and data
•Facilitate meetings, working sessions and workshops
• Create and maintain strong working relationships with C-level clients
New Business Support
•Work collaboratively with sales and practice lead along with strategy lead to contribute to new business pursuits including strategic planning, proposal development, deck writing, and pitch meetings
•Conduct strategic analysis of businesses, markets, brands, and customer experiences
• Perform data analysis and develop business cases
•Collaborate and partner with account management to drive strategic leadership into key accounts
Practice Development
•Actively participate in internal planning meetings (team or 1:1)
• Ensure activities align to practice plan and ensure best practices are being followed (particularly with respect to IA and design) and flag areas that need improvement
•Proactively identify new or unique ways to contribute to the growth of the M&E practice (through new opportunities or risk management)

•Demonstrate passion for and knowledge of digital media, related technology, and current/emerging trends
•Contribute as an exceptional team player with the confidence and integrity to earn client and internal team confidence and trust
•Keep up-to-date and ahead of relevant knowledge (ex. reading industry blogs, books, newsletters, conferences, etc.) and showcase a desire to dive in to learn and shape the role
•Strive to achieve or exceed utilization goals
