Job ID: NCS108395 Description: Job Description: Individual willprovide technical and business development support to government customer at Ft. Monmouth, NJ. Primary customer interface is Product Director, Fire Support Command and Control (FSC2) and Program Manager (PM) Battle Command (BC).
This position will be responsible for providing customer technical support in the Command & Control (C2) Fires area, developing strong customer relationships, monitoring and shaping customer needs, identifying new opportunities, proposing technical solutions, working with teammates, and support strategic business development and capture activities to grow Raytheon’s C2 Army Battle Command business at Fort Monmouth and later at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD.
Individual will perform requirements and operational capabilities analyses to determine gaps that can be met using Raytheon solutions. Individual will also assist in pursuit strategies for new capabilities. Efforts will cover a wide range of capabilities such as: * Preparation and conduct of AFATDS/JADOCS interface and interoperability demonstrations; preparation of high level white papers and briefings; * business development and pursuit activities for AFATDS/JADOCS-related efforts including Net Enabled Command Capability (NECC), Battle Command server, and Foreign Military Sales; * providing Systems Engineering input and support to Director, FSC2 and PM BC; * provide logistical support as needed for Director, FSC2; assist and provide programmatic support to PM FSC2; * Represent Director FSC2 at various meetings when requested.
This position will work independently for Director, FSC2 and will interface with Raytheon Field Office,Ft.Monmouthand various Raytheon organizations. Interface and interaction with other defense contractors and government agencies and organizations will also be required.
It is expected that thisindividualwill work for the Battle Command Migration PM and will also support the Raytheon VTC andFort Wayneprogram offices. It is envisioned that this position will transition to Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD in the 2010 timeframe.
Required Skills: * Briefing and white paper preparation and presentation experience. Must be able to make presentations to levels up to and including Senior Executive Service (SES) / General Office (GO) levels. * Must be able to work in an environment that receives little daily guidance and supervision. Individual must be capable of establishing daily work plans and accomplishing tasks with little information. * Excellent verbal communication skills that will allow them to use tact/diplomacy when dealing daily with customers from theuser level to executive decision makers at the SES or General Officer level * Minimum of 2 years experience working with program level CECOM government customer with a demonstrated working knowledge of the Army C2 software acquisition process * A minimum of 10 years of Experience in the following: - Engineering team management - Communication/presentation at program levels in industry and government - Working with U.S. Government customers - Capturing new pursuits, follow-on business, and overall proposal support * Proven Technical Leadership skills * Aware of trends in migration to Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and web based technologies * Experience with military Fire Support or Command and Control efforts. * Travelwill be required up to 50%
Desired skills: * Systems Engineering for software programs * Experience with AFATDS and/or JADOCS integration or interoperability within the last 5 years * Knowledge and experience with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Unified Modeling Language (UML) version 2.0, desired * Knowledge ofthe Armys (and DODs) SOA migration plan * Strong understanding of modern Object Oriented (OO) system modeling and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) development techniques * Familiarity with ID/IQ contracting is highly desirable
Required Education: Bachelors Degree in Management, Science, Engineering, or related field
Desired Education: Advanced degree;Management, Science, Engineering, or related fieldpreferred
Individual will be required to possess or be able to obtain Secret Security Clearance.
