Job Description: ADJUNCT FACULTY - INTERMEDIATE ACCOUNTING DeVrys North Brunswick campus is seeking adjunct faculty to teach the following two intermediate accounting courses: Accounting 265 - Intermediate Accounting II This course expands on topics covered in Accounting 215 such as Financial accounting functions and theory, and recognition and measurement of assets. In addition, Property, intangibles, liabilities, stockholders equity, retained earnings and earnings per share are covered. Accounting 312 - Intermediate Accounting III This course continues topics covered in Accounting 305 such as financial accounting, property, plant and equipment, intangible assets, investments, current, long-term and contingent liabilities, and leases. This course also addresses accounting for income taxes, pensions and other post-retirement benefits, shareholders equity, share-based compensation and earnings per share, accounting changes and error correction, and statement of cash flows. Educational and Experience Requirements: . Masters degree in related area required. . Accounting experience is required . Minimum two years of relevant teaching experience at the post secondary level is preferred. . Must have outstanding communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. NOTE: Our accounting courses are offered-on campus-in day, evening, and weekend classes. Local candidates strongly preferred - No relocation assistance available.
