Description:   This position provides technical support for a variety of paint and assembly processes.  Interface will occur with Work Group Advisors, Work Groups, Quality and Product Engineering, and Manufacturing Support Services.  Major responsibilities include enhancing the Paint, Graphics, Assembly and Shipping processes by assuring that the parts and assemblies are processed to meet optimum safety, quality, cost and delivery requirements.  Results include continuous improvement of safety, ergonomics, quality, cost, workflow, and on-time product delivery.                                          This is an entry-level position, however, previous experience in a co-op program or intern assignment focused on manufacturing will be a plus for consideration for this position.  Knowledge of assembly and paint processes, SPC, and Computer Aided Design is a plus.  Familiarity with the following is desired:                                            1. Detail process planning                      2. Practical application of ergonomics and safety                       3. Assembly and paint operations and equipment                  4. Familiarity with Lean / Cellular concepts                    5. Equipment justification and procurement, costing methods / value analysis                    6. Process control and quality assurance, SPC, and process capability                   7. Capacity planning, including productivity measurements, Client planning and                              Material flow                       8. Process documentation / Plant layout work using CAD                  9. ISO standards and their relationship to company policies, procedures and instructions                                                Schedule is first shift (Four 10 hour days) 5 am to 3:30pm. Schedule is first shift (Four 10 hour days) 5 am to 3:30pm. Work days will be Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat. Location Tomahawk Somo - Paint
