Description: Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Unix Admin for a contract assignment with one of our premier financial clients in Chicago, IL. The environment to be supported will include a mixure of 70% Solaris and 30% AIX. For this role, however, the client is looking for someone with very strong recent AIX Administration experience. Required Skills: AIX, Solaris, Unix, System Administration Responsibilities: -Support day to day operations of Solaris 10 and AIX 6.1 install base. -Drive developmental project work to improve the stability and performance of the install base. -Where necessary, build new infrastructure or install and configure new applications across the install base in accordance with Banking policies and procedures. -Remidiation, Break fix, and assisting with the roll out of new applications. -Code release SGA is a Certified Womans Business Enterprise (WBE) celebrating over thirty years of service to our national client base.
