Hi all,
I know Trish loves snow pictures, and my Mom asked me to make a web page
to copy my pictures from, so I thought I'd share the link with you.
As an added bonus there is a picture of me, and the last picture is my
husband's new car with its first dusting of snow on it.

http://www.silverthorn.org/mstjohn/Snow_and_Moms_decorations/

The snow pictures were taken at my Mom's house Christmas week in upstate NY.
As usual we spent time there and at my in laws. this year worked out better
than usual, since none of the relatives started any fights. Mike also recieved
his Christmas wish, and his car was ready to pick up the day before we left
He ordered it in October, and they didn't think it would get it till after
Christmas. He's like a kid in a candy store its the first car he's actually
wanted to own, and has everything he wanted. There's a couple of pictures with
Mike and Dad looking over the car, doign the typical guy thing of what's
under the hood?

All in all we had a great time, and it wasn't long enough.

Thanks Cheryl, I just wish I wasn't slouching in that picture.

Oooo, she does! The photos are gorgeous, Margaret! It looks like
fairyland! Thanks for posting them. Is it OK if I keep a copy of your
photo please? (NB. You have *such* a lovely complexion!)

LOL! I know exactly what you mean. We had a lovely day in spite of me
dear Mum throwing a petite wobbliette (as is her wont). The kids got
woefully sunburnt in the pool of Ugly even in spite of me slathering
them in sunscreen. DS' bald patch is quite a worry - we keep forgetting
about it! Our poor Alice has a nasty sunburn on her pink nose at the
moment (another worry, since her breed and colouring are quite
susceptible to skin cancer) and everyone's busily keeping indoors. How
I'd *love* to throw myself into one of your delightful-looking snow
photos and cool off, just for a minute or two! ;-D

Nice pictures! I especially like the icicle ones and most especially
the one taken through your stained-glass window! I haven't seen
icicles like that for *years*. Maybe it's because houses are better
insulated these days????

Joan in ND, where we currently have only about 2 inches of the white
stuff on the ground

Yes you can, you can copy any of you you want.

It would definitely cool you off very quickly, even though it was warm that day
. It was 26F, which is rather warm for Mom's house. Its usely in the teens.

My parents house is well over 100 years old, so it doesn't have very good
insulation at all. BTW Mom made the window, its the fake stained glass
plastic you paint on, but looks real. She's very talented.

Thank you! My kids were enchanted by the snow pics and I forgot to
comment on the lovely stained glass window: it's lovely! Not 'too much',
if you get my drift. And pretty colours. Yum! ;-D
