Hello,

As of June 2008, I have acquired the rights to the GT-Power BBS and
terminal
software! There is now a new website up at www.gtpowerbbs.com. From
there
the latest version can be downloaded as well as news and support
forums.

My immediate plans are to make GT work properly in Windows 2000/XP/
Vista with
Telnet support. This will be done with minimal modifcation at first.
However, over time I want to make GT a full Windows application.

After working with the code over the July 4th weekend, I am pleased to
announce I was able to get the code to compile and run (mostly) for
the first
time since Paul Meiners stopped development. It shouldn't be long
before you
see regular releases again.

You may contact me at ad...@gtpowerbbs.com as well as the website,
again at:
www.gtpowerbbs.com

Thanks,

Tom

So is this particular package Fido-capable by any chance?

The license will be Freeware in the future. Per transfer agreement,
GT will never be open source or public domain.

Yes, in the future.

Good luck with your development efforts, always good to see a torch carried
forward.
