lost gonzo bbs ...nostalgia bbs trying to lever them up wish me luck

wg 3.20 system getting backup

with Synchronet BBS system back up as front end /merged game server etc

good to have a goal

anyway for all interested the Lost Gonzo BBS and the Nostalia BBS gonna
try to get the synchronet and worldgroup bbs they had up back up.


ok i finally broke down and decided to get inet broadband connection at
home rather then just mooch wi-fi and use inet at work....the computer
equip from back in the day (so sad the $$$ value and present usefulness
as doorstops) ...finally got to me so i'm gonna lever the system up

it took 4 sysops to run this thing back in the day it is gonna be a bear
to get back up by myself not to mention the nostalgia bbs which i am
"guardian" of somehow..

anyway anyone with any experience with getting www.synchro.net up as the
front end with his free dyn.dns up as the hook and then to my large
wg 3.20 system...i'd appreciate it

anyway if nothing else i want to get it all back up for a hobby even if
no one but me (or someone looking for dos drivers for their video card)
are the only people to use it

can't seem to get rid of it or toss the equip may as well have access to
it all for my own "wonder years moments"

anyway anyone with experience with the above feel free to contact me and
when the asteroid hits and buries our houses with ash ..and aliens find
our worldgroup bbs stuff frozen in time..heh that will show em huh!

( i admit need a life ...that not being likely will put up the bbs again)

groups eventually i guess (like my free newsgroups from

anyway i'll try not to be too annoying and just cross post this on a few
