The artist who played on Dukes of Hazard was a banjo player named Larry
McNeely.
You should be able to google more info for him.
Flatt and Scruggs did the car chase tracks in Warren Beatrys Bonnie And
Clyde,
Earls famous "Foggy Mountain Breakdown" led that soundtrack. Though it has
been pointed out, that type of banjo music was not accurate for that time
period.
