I know the Deering Good Times have been around for a long time, but I just
recently discovered this model, with a dark stain finish and chrome tuners. I
like the look better than the original blonde wood. Anyone care to offer their
opinion on the Good Times in general? I currently own only one open-back banjo,
a Goldtone CB-100 which I bought last year and I'm not thrilled with the
somewhat muddy or clunky sound. My other banjos include a 1963 Vega Seeger, a
1964 Ode longneck and a Fender FB58. I'd like a decent sounding, regular neck
openback. Thanks.
