people with acne/oily skin on finasteride

Hi everyone,

I'd like to understand better how the finasteride side effects effect your
chances of having a positive response from the drug. Specifically, how much
they indicate a damaging hyperandrogenicity response.

The question is this. Are there people reading this message who have
experienced increased acne and oily skin (or the other side effects) for
longer than a few months who also got a good response from using the
finasteride?

Ive been on it 2 weeks, I know thats not a long time. I rarely get pimples,
Ive noticed I have had more then usual over the past 2 weeks. Not enough to
piss me off though.

Been on propecia for 6.5 months.
After 3, noticed a little more acne and little oilier forehead.
Just slightly more oilier I believe.
Acne on the face a bit more, but regular use of clearasil has helped
clear that up. I think, a couple zits on the back which I usually dont
get also.

In sum, I use clearasil (spelling ?) and it works to keep the zits from
coming.
Hair is doing excellent....thickened up and regrown a little..not
losing hair...the main key has been thickened existing hair...provides
more volume.

have definitely seen a few more pimples and scalp is oilier than before.
