I seek a program which will clone a disk to a USB disk - i.e. make a
copy of directories and files, not write to some proprietary archive
format. I want to be able to access any file from the backup with
Windows explorer, not the software's restore function.
Furthermore, I wish this backup program to be simple, so that once
it is configured, it needs only a few clicks to run the backup.
More wish - it works on old PC with Win2000 or ME?

Karen's Replicator is freeware, and can automatically in the background
or manually copy or clone any folder or combination to any other. The
destination folders can be on any drive you have, including flash drives,
external disks on USB or hard drives. It is small, and has a tiny
footprint on your system, and can run on virtually any flavor of windows.

The destination folders are simply copies of the original and can be
accessed in any way you choose. There is no compression or proprietary
format involved.

It can copy the whole folder, or only the changed files, and can remove
any deleted files in the original folder from the destination. All your
choice.
