When something gets put on YouTube or wherever, and suddenly goes viral
(where Joe Bloggs sees it, posts a link somewhere for all his friends to
see, then many of them do likewise... and on and on), if the link comes my
way, I normally just delete it and move on. I can't be arsed with stuff like
that. Generally, it annoys me - it's often stupid stuff like that annoying
dancing baby from that TV series, or other such nonsense.
Occasionally, something comes along that I will look at because the
accompanying text sparks my interest (with none, it doesn't get a chance),
and I may or may not nod my head in appreciation.
Rarely does something come along that I pass on myself. But this, I am. It's
just too good not to. Brilliant, in fact.
It's actually the older of the two videos - the second one down on this page
- that I saw first. That one, apparently, was put on YouTube in September
09, and went viral in a very short space of time. I saw it yesterday, found
the website set up by the people behind it, and now present it here for your
enjoyment because I strongly suspect that the readers of this group - all
being highly intelligent, science fiction (and science) loving people - will
find it worthwhile.

in a comment. But most of the people on my friends list probably won't

Thanks for posting the link, Vince. What is now the middle video/song of the
three (but was the top of two when I first visited) seems particularly good
to me.
I love the little touch of Feynman repeating 'juice, juice' in the
background in a couple of places. That was from an Horizon featuring Feynman
from the late '80s shortly before he died ('The Quest for Tannu Tuva') --
and is the same place where the clip of Feynman playing bongos with Ralph
Leighton comes from.
