My ex-wife put a nice dent in my passenger door. Any way I can pull it out,
such as renting a tool somehere? I don't need to repaint it, just get the dent
out. I assume a body shop will want ten million dollars just to look at it, of
course.

Thanks,
John

try to access the inside of the door by removing the inner door panel...this
will prevent you from having to repaint the door because of using a dent
puller.
You may be able to knock it out from the inside...it may not be perfect but you
can get it to look pretty good.

Depending on where the dent is, you probably could pull the inside
door panal and knock the dent out from the inside. If you don't want
it painted, a body shop will not charge very much to remove dents.

One other method that involves less work is to use a dent puller if its a
pretty large one. These are available from most car accessory shops or
whatever and cost I guess what is around $10 over there. All they are are
large suction cups. You place it on, move a handle and it creates
suction, then just hank and pull the dent out. Like a more sophisticated
sink plunger I guess.

Hope this helps, Mark
