Fox News is in a package that I have to pay extra for, but CNN and PMSNBC
are offered free with the basic package. Assuming my experience is the norm,
one has to wonder why Fox dominates the cable news. I mean, if they are
included in for-fee programming and still beat the free program offerings,
there must be something there...

There is, Fox is the only place were viewers get fair and balanced news.
Those that believe otherwise obviously do not watch Fox News.

I watched some of Glenn Beck's show this afternoon. If half of what
he is saying could happen does happen I'm heading for the bat cellar and
not coming out for 10 or 15 years.

Perhaps that is why MSNBC is at the bottom of ratings totem pole.

If we continue on the current path that scenario may not be far off. The
nuts have been running the asylum, that is Washington DC, since 2006. The
only hope we have is the fact spending legislation begins in the House and
when the Republican take over in January they can simply not fund some of
the goofy government Healthcare, EPA, SEC, Fanny and Freddy regulatory
bureaucratic crap that has been enacted and perhaps save the county for our
grandchildren.

I always found it odd, that for all of President Bush's time in office the
Dims kept telling us that everything he was doing was wrong, but never ONCE
did they even try to cut the funding for the war or the Patriot Act, but
actually INCREASED the funding over what the President had requested when
they controlled the Congress.

The railed about the tax RATE cuts for all Americans yet they voted for the
tax rate cuts, then said they were ONLY cuts for the rich when in fact the
highest RATE cut was to the poorest, the 15% rate was cut to 10%, a 33.3%
cut while the rate for the richest was cut only 3%, curious.
