I was told that ABS is only available on the Tundra Limited, but I
thought I saw a message in this mewsgroup suggesting that the ABS is
available in SR5 as well. Which is correct?

Thanks,

Glenn

Heya Glenn,
I mentioned above that ABS and SRS (not SR5) on any car are death
traps... =) Perhaps this was the source of your uncertainty.
By the way, in reference to Eric Dreher's post, I'm a he.

Possibly... it was an older thread, so the guy might have been
referring to the Tacoma. The dealer confirmed that while Toyota lists
ABS as an option with the SR5 cabs, so far the plant hasn't produced
any. It's standard in the Limited, but I don't want to pay another
$3000 just for ABS, and leather seats are awful in summer (rrrrrrrip!)

I have an SR5, not limited with ABS. The dealer had a hard time finding
it.. He said they were not making many as buyers did not want ABS on a pick
up. I hit the brakes hard the other day and the ABS worked, I think they
are good with the light rear end of a pick up.
