Tail Light wiring on 2003 Taco

My right tail light isn't working - just the running light - brake and
turn signals work. Chased down all the wires, replaced the relay ($75)
and fuses. Took out the light assembly and that works when I give it
12V. I'm thinking I can patch a line from the left tail light to the
right tail light.
