Does the axle and bearing slide out of the bearing holder that's between the
wheel and the transmission, or do you have to unbolt the bearing holder from
the engine. I got the clip loose, but the axle does not want to slid out
from the bearing holder, thanks Jay.

Remove that bolt in the middle too, not the special tip on it, it should
be rubber. It does slide out, but its not always easy.
