front window slot seal clips / installation

'87 944 n.a. trying to install the window slot seal. snapping the seal into the metal runner bar is difficult by hand - the seal is not in all the way all along the rail. the seal appears fragile so I am hesitant to use a mallet. I put some clips on the seal, some on the door in hopes of snapping both into place.... more »

spare tire air compressor power

'87 944 n.a. will the cigarette lighter outlet handle the spare tire air compressors that are out there? i.e. even though I have spare fuses, I am inclined to get a compressor that attaches directly to the battery because I think it will provide more stable power. -B

looks like the fuel pressure damper is straightforward to replace - e.g. don't need to remove fuel rail. just checking if anyone has any caveats/suggestions - e.g. replace the fuel pressure regulator at the same time, ... -bryan
