It's located on the right frame rail
near the gas tank .

this is a better explanation .
To find the fuel filter, raise the front of the vehicle. The fuel filter is
mounted to the right frame rail, near the fuel tank. Don't forget to relieve
the fuel system pressure by pulling the fuse for the fuel pump and trying to
start the vehicle a few times .
